Groups at Kew Palace

Ten or more people qualify for group prices and conditions. We recommend a maximum of 25 people for this intimate palace, although larger groups can be accommodated by staggering entry in 15-minute intervals.

Palace information for groups

Guides and tours at the palace

Our Welcome Centre introduces the story of the palace, so don't let your groups miss it.

Special guided tours are available by arrangement each day. Our guides can take up to 12 visitors on each tour.

Groups who are already visiting the palace can also now book a tour of the exquisite Queen Charlotte’s Cottage. Tours are available in the morning or afternoon slots from Tuesday to Friday.

And for the first time, from mid May to the end of September, evening tours of Kew Palace will be available. Tours start at 17.00 and include an expert guide around the palace into areas not normally open to the public, finishing in the Tudor Undercroft.

Getting here and coach parking

Coach parking is free of charge on Kew Road after 10.00.

Groups walking from Kew Bridge station should allow 15 minutes to get to the palace. Find out more about getting to Kew Palace by road and public transport.

Food and shopping for groups

The Welcome Centre shop offers a selection of gifts including the Kew guidebook and an illustrated history of Kew Palace, written by our own curators. Find out more about shopping online and by mail order.
